Your Power - Cultural and Race Awareness Programme
In today’s multicultural society it is essential that we all have at least a basic understanding of the cultural and racial issues with regards to the communities in which we live. With the aid of powerful tools, delegates are helped to understand the impact power inequalities have on us all, the systematic way racism operates in society and to consider ways to challenge it.
These essential awareness raising one and two day programmes create a safe environment for learning, in which participants will discuss and explore historical and present day issues of race, culture and diversity. Participant will also be made aware of key changes in the law with reference to race and the reasons why these change took place.
The one day programme is recommended for all new and frontline staff and the more in-depth two day programme that explores the legalities and responsibilities of management, key changes in the law and the benefits of a diver workforce is recommended for middle and higher management.

Your Power - Customer Service Programme
Why is it the small things that make the difference? And what is it that customers really want?
We set out to answer these questions in this workshop, as well as to develop delegates’ key verbal and non-verbal skills, especially listening and questioning and managing challenge. Our aim is to enable delegates to develop positive relationships with their customers.

Our overall aim is to help you to develop inner confidence, coolness and calmness so that you are always in control of yourself and your actions.
By the end of this participative, interactive and fun workshop you will know how to put yourself across so that your views are taken seriously, valued, and acted upon. You will be able to influence others; to create the impression you intend; to produce co-operation rather than inaction or conflict and will know how to manage difficult situations more flexibly.

We deliver two Equality and Diversity Power programmes. The one day programme is aimed particularly at frontline staff and has been designed to raise the awareness of delegates regarding issues surrounding equality and diversity and the legal requirement of public service providers.
The two day programme is aimed at middle and higher management and has been designed to encompass the key features of the one day course with additional elements covering issues that affect people from diverse backgrounds accessing services and includes techniques to identify tools that will enable the development and delivery of best practice and a strategy for a continuous reflection and evaluation programme.

Your Power - Introduction to Youth Work Programme
This course is for anyone new to working with young people with a minimum contact of 2 hours a week and particularly with aged 13yrs – 19yr olds. It is particularly useful for people volunteering in the community in youth clubs or in youth group settings.
Delegates need to ensure availability to complete the 10 week programme. They will be required to produce a personal learning journal, a portfolio of coursework and work undertaken with young people.

This enjoyable empowering programme is designed for women of all ages who need to gain or regain confidence in themselves, or just need a motivational boost to their self-esteem.
It is especially relevant for single mothers, mothers or women out of work or returning to work after a long period of unemployment and women who are or are recovering victims of domestic violence.
The programme is bespoke and therefore tailored to the needs of the client group; this includes programmes especially designed for BME women.

Your Power - Professional Receptionist Programme
A workshop for Reception staff that examines every aspect of the customer/receptionist relationship from arrival to departure. Highly interactive, a lot of fun and with important learning points for every receptionist who attends. Every delegate will leave with their own workbook which will act as a reminder of the key points discussed during the workshops and provide a starting point for future action on their return to work.
We look particularly at receptionists themselves - how they should look, sound and behave to send a positive and professional image to customers. By the end of the workshop delegates will be more able to manage the customer relationship and avoid potential conflict. We also look at effective listening and questioning techniques, examine telephone behaviour and consider how to deal with awkward customers.

This programme is designed for Individual Community Members, Support Staff, Unemployed, Homeless people, Lone Parents or anyone who would like to improve their Self-Esteem, Self-Confidence and Motivation The programme is delivered over twelve units of learning and designed to provide those in the community with opportunities that will help them develop and realise their full potential as individuals.
The programme is designed to give people ample opportunities to participate in a positive learning environment and enables participants to learn how to assume responsibility, exercise judgement, use their imagination and apply their leadership and social skills. This participant-driven programme will not only teach its members practical knowledge, but will also provide them with the much needed, genuine experiences of personal accomplishment and success and the tools to realise their full potential.
